**x2 Students Union Vacancies**

Student voice is central to the SU, a key part of what makes us a special place to work and critical to our mission to support students to have the best experience possible whilst they study at UOG and this role leads a team to deliver this important work.

**Main responsibilities**:
The role exists to ensure that the Students’ Union operates as a democratic organisation and that the student voice is heard and a part of everything we do. The position will:

- Manage, review and promote the Student Representative structure
- Develop robust mechanisms for gaining student feedback in order to fulfil the Students’ Union’s key objective of effective representation
- Lead on elections for our Full Time Officer team
- Work closely with the University as well as internal SU staff and student leaders
- Oversee the work of our independent and impartial advice service

**Salary**: £27,393

**Location**: Across all of the main University of Gloucestershire sites with 60% of time spent at a ‘home’ campus to be negotiated (three sites to date with a fourth due to be completed in 2023/24)

Student activities has always been a big part of the offer that UOGSU makes. We have a wide range of sports clubs and societies - far more than you’d expect to find at an SU of our size. A number of our sports clubs perform at a high level in BUCS and the postholder will get to work with a range of internal and external organisations to deliver an excellent student experience.

**Main responsibilities**:
Students’ Unions are amazing membership organisations bringing together hundreds of students with shared and varied interests.

The Student Activities Manager will be instrumental in supporting clubs, societies and other student groups to access everything they need to have the best co-curricular experience whilst at UoG. Leading a small team by setting high standards, this role holder will ensure our student activities offer is positively engaged with by a wide range of students and that the programmes will deliver lasting great memories of UOGSU.

**Salary**: £27,393
