Job Description**:Telehandler**

Location**:Much Wenlock**

Salary**:£12.50/ hr direct or £14:50/ hr Self Employed**

Duration**:Long Term - 12 months+**

SWG Construction is looking for a competent, experienced and qualified Telehandler operator for a project in Much Wenlock, Shropshire

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate telehandler equipment to move, lift, and position materials and equipment
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas
- Transport materials to designated locations within the worksite
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Inspect and maintain telehandler equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with team members to coordinate material movement and placement
- Adhere to project schedules and deadlines

**Requirements**:

- Valid certification or license to operate a telehandler NPORS or CPCS
- Proven experience operating telehandlers
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to telehandler operation
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour tasks as required
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
