Inturf operates two farms at Wilberfoss, Yorkshire and Marston near Grantham, Lincolnshire.

**Job Role**:
Reporting to the Grantham Farm Manager, working on our Grantham Farm, you will be responsible for the operation of Forklifts, Telehandlers and Tractors, ensuring that quality turf is cut and well presented for despatch to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Compliance with company policies including Health and Safety
- Working with the company Vision and Values
- Maintenance and operation of equipment including Tractors, Forklifts & Telehandlers
- Monitor quality and prepare customer orders for dispatch
- Communicate in an effective manner with customers and staff

**About You**

Experience with driving and operating farm machinery would be advantageous and the ability and willingness to work long hours and some weekends when needed is also crucial.

**Personal skills/qualifications**
- Full driving licence (Essential)
- Experience of driving a Masted Rough Terrain Forklift and/or Telehandlers and tractors would be advantageous, or the willingness to undertake training.
- Workshop/mechanic experience would be very useful.
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales
- Keen eye for detail
- Hands on approach
- Willing to learn and develop new practices

**Hours**

39 per week. Mon-Thurs 8:00-16:30 Fri 8:00-15:30 plus overtime.

Availability and willingness to work some evenings and weekends is crucial in busy periods which gives good earning-potential.

**Salary**

£10.50 -£15.50 /hr dependent on experience

Pension.
