**Subject Leader of History**

**Are you passionate about Teaching History?**

Christ The King are looking to appoint a Subject Leader of History to work in our existing dedicated and successful teaching team. You will work with a range of students supporting and engaging students and inspiring their learning in all key stages.

This is a permanent, full-time role working on an annual basis.

We are part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, and we bring together the 36 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Lincolnshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.

**About the role**

As Subject Leader of History you will:

- Be caring and supportive

- Be able to plan and prepare high quality learning for all students
- Promote the well-being of our students’ providing guidance and support
- Be able to inspire learning and progress

**About you**
- Have ability to work on your own initiative and to prioritise tasks
- Knows and understands relevant National Curriculum Programmes of Study
- Is aware of the requirements for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 5 and Further/Higher education
