We are currently looking for an ICS Subject Matter Expert of Talent and Leadership to support the ICS People and Culture function.

The ICS People and Culture Function are looking to improve the workforce experience via a variety of different programmes including system portability, cultural development, inclusion and belonging, plus many more. We are keen to bring the history of the Partner organisations together.

The ICS Subject Matter Expert for Talent and Leadership is a key member of the Integrated Care System Delivery Team and carries out a leadership role in development a system wide talent management strategy and leadership knowledge. Responsible for policy, strategy development and performance review, the postholder facilitates delivery of workplace talent and leadership objectives working with colleagues from across the System.

The postholder will undertake an audit of talent and leadership activities across the System, providing assurance on quality, effectiveness, efficiency and evaluate the added value of all activities.

The postholder will lead, develop, and embed the leadership initiatives across the System ensuring that all leaders are effectively engaged and that the activities are in the context of the System Leadership Model. The postholder will lead the curriculum development, planning, promotion, and delivery of a suite of leadership, managerial, personal and team development programmes.

The postholder will be responsible for the development of an ICS induction and the development and implementation of talent and leadership policies, ensuring opportunities for all staff to ensure capacity and capability to meet the changing demands on our services.

This is something that we need to look at through a partnership between the NHS, local government, and the voluntary sector.

If you have the following knowledge, skills, and attributes, we would love to hear from you.
- Significant direct experience in similar management role or relevant master’s degree.
- Demonstrable track record of effective working partnerships with professional groups and senior managers.
- Able to liaise and communicate effectively with staff and managers at all levels.
- Significant experience of juggling conflicting priorities and multiple tasks.
- Proven ability to motivate, persuade and influence.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully managing complex projects within timeframe and budget.
- Proven ability to be decisive, adaptable, and flexible.
- Demonstrable experience of problem-solving with the ability to respond to sudden, unexpected, and changing demands.
