We offer full day care for children aged 0-8 years. Opening times 7:00am-6:00pm all year round Excluding Christmas to New year and bank holidays.

**General duties**:

- Organising a consistent daily routine for children, including sufficient meal times, nap times, playtimes, and educational activities
- Supporting children’s development, such as providing activities that develop their understanding of the world and help them learn new skills
- Monitoring and recording children’s progress and their interests to provide more tailored support in the future
- Spotting any behavioural or developmental problems that arise and discussing these with parents to help get the child extra support
- Preparing and cooking healthy meals or snacks for children to promote a healthy diet, while also considering specific dietary needs and any potential allergens
- Supervising children to ensure their safety at all times
- Introducing basic concepts to children when playing, such as sharing and turn-taking
- Supporting high levels of hygiene, such as changing children out of their dirty clothes or making sure they wash their hands after the toilet
- Changing nappies and assisting toddlers with potty training

- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- **Providing challenging and stimulating age appropriate activities for all children**:

- Taking part in First Aid training as required
- Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery
- Observe, assess and support children’s development and progress
- Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
- Following Safeguarding and health and safety regulations to support the nursery to maintain their ofsted standardA GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths and English or equivalent
- A passion for childcare and have a basic understanding of Early Years
- Some childcare experience whether that is personal or professional. **responsibilities of this job role will include**:

- Working towards **Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship**.
