IBK are currently working with a chap who lives in the Crookes area of Sheffield. He is in his early 60's but only quite recently had a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome. He also has a diagnosis of anxiety and depression. He is an intelligent and softly spoken person who enjoys music and has 2 cats he adores The support will center around supporting the gentleman with his correspondence, and sometimes helping him to make and attend appointments. He is also really interested in family history and would like to research more about his biological and adoptive family with his PA. You may also just spend time chatting if the chap is feeling down or anxious about anything.

The ideal PA will be laid back and open minded, the gent does sometimes have views and opinions that he does not intend to be offensive, be they may be different to your own. He does although get along with most people.

This gent has sadly experienced historic abuse which he is very open about and have received counselling for. Your role may involve supporting him to talk through this too.

2 hours per week, ideally mid week and in the morning time but there is lots of flexibility for the right person
