Job Overview

We are the leading injection moulding company for horticultural sundries based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. We're proud to have a long history of making, designing and distributing our products worldwide. We are seeking to appoint an Accounts Administrator & Payroll Clerk to join our team. Your duties will include, but not be limited too:
Responsibilities for Accounts Administrator and Payroll Clerk
- Daily bank statement entries
- Experience working with foreign bank accounts, desirable not essential
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit Card reconciliations
- Nominal reconciliations
- Raising Sales Invoices
- Credit Control
- Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
- Answering and Fielding Telephone calls
- General Administrative duties and basic HR
- Process wages on a weekly and monthly basis
- Organization of staff requests for holidays and any pay issues
- Production and distribution of payslips
- Working closely with our operations manager on the day to day tasks of running the business
- Sending out of P45’s, P60’s, pension letters
- Filing for HMRC
- Stated wage is negatable at interview
- Process starters, leavers and payroll changes

Qualifications for Accounts Administrator and Payroll Clerk
- 2-3 years’ experience with accounts payable and general accounting
- Essential SAGE 50 Cloud Account and SAGE 50 Payroll experience
- Proficient Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and general computer knowledge and skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Strong of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
- Strong analytic abilities
