Junior Events Coordinator

**Role Purpose**
The Junior Events Co-Ordinator will be assisting the Event Manger in the administration, organisation and delivery of all conferences, meetings, events, and weddings that take place at One Warwick Park Hotel. You will be expected to assist the Event Manager during the busy seasons, during the low seasons you will be expected to help other departments, such as the food and beverage department.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Following all processes and procedures that have been put in place by the Events Manager.
- Completing all administrative tasks for all meetings, weddings, conferences from when the contracts have been received.
- Contacting our preferred suppliers, such as booking Chiavari chairs, DJs, and other requests from all clients.
- Processing deposits and full balance payments from clients to our booking system and completing all invoicing for all types of events.
- Hosting all types of events and meetings when required.
- Assisting the Event Manager in hosting all weddings
- You will be working closely with the Front of House Team and kitchen team, and ensure efficient communication of all information regarding meetings, conferences, and weddings has been given.
- To undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects as instructed by their line manager.
**Key skills and knowledge - Essential**:
- Excellent planning and organisational skills are required.
- Excellent communications skills are a prerequisite for this role.
- Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Must be able to work on their own initiative.
- You must be able to prioritise, organise and delegate, when required.
- Excellent Interpersonal & communication skills.
- Understanding of Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and licensing legislation.
- Must be able to work in high pressure situations.

- Customer focused
**Schedule**:Day shifts, late shifts**, **rota, and weekend availability is required.
