Document Controller

Morrison Energy Services are currently looking to recruit a **Document Controller **to work on our **National Gas Asset Health framework** contracts.
As the Document Controller you will be part of our Programme Management Office (PMO) who are responsible for project controls, programme assurance, accurate forecasting and reporting, adding value to Gas construction, driving improved project delivery output and productivity performance across the project programme.
The contract includes programme management, together with the design and construction of works associated with the Gas network projects across the whole of the framework, reporting to the Quality Manager. This includes new assets, renewals, modifications, maintenance, and refurbishment of network assets.
**As the Document Controller your duties & responsibilities will be**:
- Issuing documentation externally as the centre point through which all documentation must pass, as per client’s governance procedures.
- Processing client Project Orders, Handover Packs and RFIs.
- Setting up and manage template forms, reports and dashboards (including provision of user guidance and support).
- Managing all relevant registers to keep them up to date (e.g. Project Orders, EDMS users and RFI Registers.
- Organising workshops, meetings and training session associated with the Programme Management processes and procedures.
- Setting up data books and updating and issuing version control to the project teams
- Collecting site documents and centralising in the project data pack and client system
- Ensure site documents and versions have been issued to the client and project team including communication channels
- Supporting and controlling the closing out of all data documents and management
- Weld documents and location inline with the site engineer guidance.
**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- Good facilitation and organisation skills to effectively support the PMO and the project in general.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills.
- Ability to provide a high quality, professional service to the wider programme.
- A clear focus on customer/stakeholder needs.
- Educated to at least GCSE/A Level (one or the other) standards.
- Intermediate user capabilities in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Office administration experience
- Preferably Project based.
- Aconex or similar systems
