**Summary**:
Our client, a large manufacturing business, based in Plymouth is looking for an experienced and professional Procurement Analyst who will understand data related needs within the Procurement Department.

It is required to have advanced working experience with Business Intelligence and Data Analysis tools. It is further required to understand the concepts of data mining, -processing, -cleansing and data warehousing. The Procurement Analyst also should haveexperience from a Procurement Function, understand the concepts of Supply/Demand, ERP, MRP, Production Scheduling (including forecasting, capacity
- and Demand Planning).

This will enable the Procurement Analyst to support the Procurement and Materials Management team with ad-hoc assistance. Furthermore, it is part of the function to automate the collection and presentation of data covering financial and supplier performanceand support the team in business systems related needs.

**Main Duties**:

- Ownership of the Department’s internal KPI’s backend (Excel/SQL) and frontend
- Key User for Business Systems within Procurement
- Master data such as Supplier Accounts/Financial Status
- Interface and work with IT to improve tools and data sources
- Prepare Data to enable data warehousing for Procurement
- Work closely with the Materials Analyst’s to improve the used toolset’s
- Provide support to technical question (especially Excel)
- Proactively find opportunities for improvement, build cases and prepare the presentation
- Working with a range of business stakeholders to support Procurement needs
- Interface with multiple stakeholder groups within and outside of the business including (but not limited to) production logistics, planning, development, engineering, finance, legal and external suppliers.

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- At least 3 years’ experience as (Procurement-, Data-, Business-) Analyst preferably (but not essentially) from a manufacturing background e.g., Automotive, FMCG industries
- Exceptional Excel skills and knowledge (VBA, Macros, Pivot tables etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to present analytical findings clearly to stakeholders and team members
- A relevant degree (i.e. Mathematics/Statistics) would be an advantage
- Ideally Worked with Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau)
