Powder Coater

**Job Title: Powder Coater / Deputy Supervisor**

**Location**: Redditch

**Salary**: Circa £13 - £15 per hour + dependent on experience

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Hours**: 9am to 6pm Monday to Thursday, 6am to 11am on Fridays (39 hrs per week)

**Holidays**: 25 annual days per annum + 8 bank holiday days (33 days total payable)

Our newly operational powder coating plant is seeking a motivated individual to join our team. We are a family-oriented metal finishing environment committed to providing growth opportunities for our employees.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the Powder Coating Team by example, promoting a safe, clean, and tidy working environment
- Report faults to the Production Supervisor and Maintenance Team
- Ensure all team members follow job specifications and strive for "Right First Time" outputs
- Conduct Toolbox Talks with the Powder Coating Team
- Liaise with other Team Leaders on the shift
- Support the Senior Management Team
- Meet or exceed production targets

**Key Requirements for Role**:

- Some people-management skills preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic planning and organization skills
- Ability to follow powder coating procedures
- Forklift Truck (FLT) license preferred

**Person Specification**:

- Powder coating experience
- Previous experience supervising a Powder Coating Team
- Familiarity with modern manufacturing processes
- Hardworking and detail-conscious
- Flexible approach and quality-minded
- Self-motivated with a "Can do" attitude
- Team player

**Additional Training**:
