**Senior Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner/ Post Qualified ACCA - CIMA - ACA / Management Reporting/ Pivotal Role/ Hybrid Working/ Excellent Benefits**

I am working on a new requirement for my client, a multi - site, global business. This position will be responsible for the largest site in group and will support a very exciting period of development and continued growth, for an already leading businesssite.

You will be a post qualified Senior Management Accountant, keen to step into a Finance Business Partnering position. Your key focus will be providing quality MI and supporting the team with commercial finance and analytical input and advice. In addition,you will work with the Central Transactional Finance Team to oversee the production of management accounts from journal stage to monthly packs and detailed forecasting and budgeting. You will manage and mentor a small team of Assistant Accountants.

My client operates within a unique and vibrant business sector and so is looking for somebody who can work well as part of a social and dare I say “Fun” industry.
- Provide high quality MI and detailed commercial financial analysis of operations to support effective decision making.
- Manage, mentor, develop and facilitate the working structure of an Assistant Management Accountant.
- Identify and implement processes and systems improvements, with the objective of enhancing controls and efficiencies.
- Attend and actively contribute to venue weekly meetings led by the Senior Management Team.
- Hold monthly meetings with Department Heads to discuss financial results and forecasts.
- Prepare annual departmental budgets and challenge department heads to achieve targets.
- Prepare monthly forecast packs and account for reforecasts as required
- Prepare packs for and attend monthly Business Review
- Support the annual business planning process and value up financial impact of initiatives.
- Provide full financial project insight into redevelopment costs, including spend, assessment against the business plan, and analysis to maximise capital allowances.
- Provide ongoing Finance support on the financial impact of initiatives implemented, especially around the impact of premium products
- Prepare month end journals and process within the finance system.
- Prepare multiple settlements
- Prepare relevant reports and a weekly performance tracker for all events
- Where relevant prepare ROI analysis for capex projects that are income generating.
- Act as point of contact for audits and prepare relevant documentation
- Take responsibility for integrity and accuracy of MI from business systems.
- Provide commercial insight into working capital management through a stronger control framework or improvement in processes.
- Prepare all balance sheet reconciliations.
- Take the lead on finance project work

**Requirements**:

- Qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA, including relevant post qualification experience (2 years +)
- Previous experience in a similar capacity with the ability to work independently to deliver a robust accounting function
- Have the gravitas to act as the face of Finance as a ‘stand -alone’ Finance representative.
- An in-depth knowledge of processes, systems and control framework with the ability to improve and track system and process improvements
- Advanced Excel skills including formulas and ideally macros.
- Previous experience in a mentoring or supervisory capacity with the ability to support the development of team members
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
- The ability to be resilient and able to work well under pressure, working reactively and proactively
- Have excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
- Have commercial awareness with the ability to manage escalated requests and issues as and when they arise
