We are looking for a person with a kind, compassionate heart who wants to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Lichfield as a Live In Care, Care Professional. Our Clients have chosen to stay together within their own home instead of move to a care home.. As a Live In Care, Care Professional you will live in a client's home for a set period of time and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.

This role is to look after a couple who both have dementia. Both are independent but need supporting with medication administration, meals and general housekeeping. They require support with managing appointments and attending medical visits. The are both mobile but would benefit from support and help with the daily management of their lives both in the home and with appointments etc

**Qualifications**
It is not necessary to have qualifications as training will be given but experience of working with people and particularly supporting people either friends, family or through work, supporting people as they grow older...

**Additional Information**
As a Live In Care Care Professional, you will be provided with a food allowance, a separate room to stay in the Clients home and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.
You will work for 10 hours out of each 24 hour period and stay in the Clients home for 14 days at a time. You will then have the following 14 days off, then return for the next 14 days on. This particular clients are an ongoing job and the work pattern will be 2 weeks on 2 weeks off..

You will get 2 hours break within the 10 hour daily shift where you can leave the Clients home and pursue your own interests and the local Home instead office are on hand to help you find those local interests or hobbies.

The Clients live in the beautiful and historic town of Lichfield that has a cathedral and parks to wonder around

it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
