**Location**: Apollo Park, Crewe with regular national travel and some overnight stays
**Contract**: Permanent, full time (Monday to Friday)
**Reports To**: Installation Manager
**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Installation Manager, the main purpose of this role is to effectively and efficiently
install high end products in our Clients’ show homes. You will be managing everyday challenges on
site, with the ability to efficiently handle furniture product through to delivering and installing in
show-homes, collection of products and remedial work as required, working and communicating
closely with other departments within the business to ensure high standards at all times.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- To install high end products (including furniture, shelving and wall art) in our Clients show homes.
- To identify and manage on site challenges, flag these challenges to Install Team Leaders, and where possible,
provide a suitable solution.
- Working collaboratively as part of a strong Install and Warehouse team is vital to the success of this role.
- Working closely with stylists to ensure efficiencies and good understanding of an install job.
- To be the face of the business when on Clients’ sites, liaising with your Team Leader and Client Site Managers
regarding install and any problems to be addressed.
- Transporting installation products to Client sites nationwide.
- Collecting products from suppliers.
- Warehouse support is a requirement of the role including loading preparation for installations and furniture
assembly activities.
- Good time management within role to provide our Clients a punctual and reliable service
**About you**:
Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- Previous experience in using hand tools
- Strong general DIY and/or joinery skills
- Full valid UK driving license
- Experience of furniture installations and flat pack furniture/assembly
- Manual handling - ability to transport and install heavy products into high end and often complex spaces
- Good time management particularly adherence to schedules/rotas
- A problem solver with good initiative particularly when under pressure
- Customer focused with the ability to build strong rapport with Clients and internal colleagues
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- IT literate
Desirable Knowledge, Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in the removals industry
- Previous experience of working within a Warehouse environment
- Holder of a CSCS card is an advantage, but not essential as we can arrange this for you
- Experience driving a 3.5-ton vehicle at long distances would be an advantage
