**Job title**:Senior Technologist - Asset Management

**Location**:Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria. Hybrid role.

**Salary**: Starting from £56,667

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Strategically leading the direction of asset management work execution and prioritisation across engineering and maintenance teams
- Developing, implementing and continuously reviewing/improving the Barrow site Asset Management System, including framework, processes, guidance and tools
- Providing coaching and training to asset management role holders across the Barrow site, from front-line workers to Directors
- Maintaining understanding of industry best practice and ongoing developments in the field of asset management and how they can be tailored and applied by BAE Systems
- Establishing and enacting arrangements to monitor the performance of the Asset Management System and the maturity of asset management implementation
- Developing and maintaining the Barrow site Asset Management Policy and Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP)

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Excellent knowledge of ISO 55000 series asset management principles and requirements
- Excellent knowledge of capability development and management approaches and techniques
- Knowledgeable of relevant legislative and business requirements for the Asset Management System
- Broad knowledge of a wide range of plant based systems, and asset types, with the ability to draw on the support of SMEs from across the business where required
- Institute of Asset Management (IAM) Diploma
- Membership of the IAM (MIAM or FIAM)
