Meraki Talent are delighted to be engaged on the role of Payroll Specialist - Part time for a market leading and well-respected business based in Kirkcaldy. The salary is from £34,000 - £37,000 with hybrid working and great benefits.

**The Company**

Our client is ingrained within the history of the local area and have build the business to become one of the market leaders within their respected industry. The Payroll & Finance Controller will sit within a lean but highly efficient finance team reporting directly into the Head of Finance.

**The Role**

The role of Payroll Specialist will be the sole payroll within the business, processing the end-to-end payroll for circa 500 employees. Moreover, you will be supporting the finance function with regards to payroll within the month-end.

The successful individual will ideally have a minimum of 2-year payroll experience. Moreover, you must demonstrate an understanding of payroll legislation and statutory payroll requirements.

You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:

- Assisting with monthly payrolls
- Assisting with payroll legislation - RTI, auto enrolment, PAYE, SSP, holiday pay, pensions etc.
- Maintaining the company database including processing starters and leavers
- Dealing with internal queries and questions from employees on payroll related matters
- Ability to liaise with external partners
- Adhoc duties
