**Multi-Trade Operative**

**Plymouth - covering sites with PL & TR postcodes**

**£32,406 - £34,111 **per year**

**40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 16:30pm**

We are looking for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our team, who will cover different sites across the South West. Working within a team of 15 Operatives, you will be working in properties across Plymouth with some travel into Cornwall, these works are predominantly in domestic properties and include carpentry, plumbing and general maintenance. Due to the nature of the role, a company van will be provided as well as power tools in order for you to complete jobs to a high standard. This role will be a mixture of lone working & working within a two person team.

**The role of Multi-Trade Operative will include**:

- Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and restocking these when needed
- Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
- Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer

**Skills and experiences**:

- City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3 or relevant experience in relevant trade is essential
- Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
- Skills in some of the following disciplines - Plumbing, Carpentry and Joinery, kitchen and bathroom installations, UPVC door and window fitting
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to priorities workloads, work to deadlines and plan ahead
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving license
