**IT Support Specialist**

**Salary £34,000 - £36,000 DOE**

My client in Uxbridge is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join their fantastic growing team. They attract ambitious, passionate people who want to push themselves further. **Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Management of ITSM queues for incidents and requests (1st - 2nd Line)
- Supporting and Troubleshooting all end user hardware and associated peripherals and accompanying software in person, telephone or remotely
- Supporting any complex related desktop matters (escalating internally and externally where required)
- Configuration and Deployment of their Corporate Windows O/S image
- On/Offboarding of starters and leavers
- IOS/MdM Deployments
- Installation, fault finding and diagnosis of desktop software packages to ensure maximum availability
- Troubleshooting client/network connectivity issues for local and remote staff
- Upkeep of Asset Management tools to track company owned Hardware and Software
- Active Directory user object support and configuration
- Producing written material including custom work instructions/escalation reports
- Involvement in Project work
- Providing guidance with online collaboration tools, audio visual and video conferencing configurations and setups
- Providing assistance to maintain the integrity of the physical network, switches, routers, cabling and associated infrastructure
- Recognizing patterns and trends across a wide range of symptoms and drawing key conclusions
- Ensure IT operations are conducted within compliance and follow key WIP/SOP
- Exposure to OSX

**The Ideal Experience**:

- Up to 2+ years of proven experience working in a service desk position supporting customers’ needs via a service management suite in a multi-national enterprise environment with a working knowledge of ITIL best practices
- Solid understanding of office suite with strong outlook exposure (2010-2016-0365)
- Grounded knowledge of Active Directory Services
- Previous experience with the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of antivirus and VPN products
- People oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills, verbal and written with particular attention to detail
- Awareness of leading ERP solutions
- Apple OSX/IOS exposure
- Strong working knowledge of networking topologies & protocols
- Understanding of mail routing and messaging systems (MS Exchange)
- AV-V/C experience
- Ability to work independently when required, as well as part of team to achieve goals and meet timelines
- MCDST
- CompTIA
- MCSA / MCP

**Education**:
**Essential**:

- Diploma/Degree
- Relevant Accreditations ITIL/MCP/MCDST/MCSA
- Proven capabilities and experience within the desired fields

**Desirable**:

- ITIL/MCP/MCDST/MCSA
