Team Leader

We are looking for a competent Team Leader within Home Care to provide support to people living at home in a professional and competent manner. Nayland Care offers community care services to adults in various locations across Suffolk. The value of care workers was recognised during the Covid-19 pandemic and although it can be a demanding job, it can also be very satisfying and rewarding.
**Responsibilities**:
- Completing assessments for new clients and to type out the new care plans
- Complete reviews for clients
- Assist new members of staff by allowing them to shadow you and to be their point of support.
- Completing risk assessments for clients
- Completing observations for staff members in your area
- Assisting people to take their medication
- Assisting people with their personal care needs
- Assisting people with mobility and access to the community when required
- Supporting people to follow prescribed exercise regimes to aid recovery from injury
- Supporting people with their shopping
- Undertaking light housework duties
- Providing companionship to people whilst maintaining professional boundaries
- Be able to respond to emergency situations such as falls/sudden illness
- To be able to complete factual, thorough daily care records and incident reports
- Liaising with colleagues to ensure that care and support plans are being achieved
**Salary**: From £12.60 per hour
