The Childrens Autism Hub, based in South Bristol, provides diagnostic autism assessments for children and young people aged 2-18 years from Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and North Somerset. The Hub has both a core team and a waiting list initiative team, offering in the region of 120 autism assessments per month.

You will join a dedicated, innovative, multi-disciplinary team that includes Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Specialist Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Teachers and support workers. There is a strong team identity and you will be supported by the autism leadership team and the Head of Service.

The Hub is forward-thinking and is creatively managing the growing demand for autism assessments with a pioneering school-based assessment initiative. You will have the opportunity to shape and improve the service as we continue on our transformation journey.

We are looking for an experienced, flexible, resilient Speech and Language Therapist, who is passionate about supporting autistic and neurodiverse people.

As Childrens Clinical Lead in Autism across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) you will provide expert clinical and professional leadership and line management for a Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Service that provides input to children with autism or suspected autism.Speech and Language Therapists are the core workforce in both the autism diagnostic pathway and the autism waiting list initiative.
