**What does your typical day look like?**

Leading a team of 5 in the Credit Control Department

Other key actions will be but not limited to:

- Lead a team of 5 credit control administrators, including 1-2-1 aged debt reviews, delegation of tasks and setting targets to reduce debtor days.
- Training of staff where required.
- Producing weekly aged debt reports for team, gather teams weekly and monthly forecast and populate into the cashbook.
- Daily maintenance of the cashbook updating incoming receipts into the business.
- Weekly reports to internal stakeholders highlighting aged customer claims.
- Cash allocation of incoming receipts
- Opening accounts, after authorisation from credit manager of the credit limit
- Produce and maintain the AR KPIs
- Manage accounts of High value customers_._
- Assist the credit manager with any ad hoc work required.
- Ensuring all closed deliveries have been invoiced in a timely manner.
- Liaise with various teams across the business and DHL to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Management of blocked orders to ensure customers are not over limit.
- Resolve any EDI invoice issues that occur with the IT team.
- Action customer complaints
- Reconcile SAP to Invest Credits

**What are the key ingredients needed for the role?**
- Excel skill to the level of V-Look ups & Pivot tables/ charts.
- SAP or other accounting system experience.
- Numeracy and attention to detail are key.
- Tenacious Attitude
- Ability to work to deadlines & prioritise workload.
- Able to work on own initiative but also a team player
