**Position Summary and Overview**

Supervision & front-line support of day to day Facilities activities across a range of services including soft services, catering, & maintenance activities. The role includes scheduling & administrative duties for various activities including site maintenance visits (reactive & planned). This role includes EHS responsibilities relating to the safe management of contractors.

**Responsibilities**
- Scheduling planned & reactive maintenance visits
- Updating maintenance schedule
- Filing of all service reports
- Contract administration
- On-site contractor management
- Contactor EHS administration
- Overseeing/auditing soft services providers (cleaning & security)
- Responsible for on-site catering provisions
- Hands on duties including ad-hoc reactive cleaning
- Overseeing site waste management streams
- Undertaking key fire safety activities (weekly fire alarm testing)
- Undertaking water hygiene activities
- Tracking reactive repair costs
- Contractor liaison e.g. site visits, obtaining quotes
- Liaising and scheduling works with Leica departmental managers
- Raising and issuing purchase orders
- Role includes requirement to work adjusted shifts to meet the needs of the business e.g. out of hours contractor visits, soft services supervision.

**Skills and experience**
- Excellent IT skills incl. MS Excel, Word, Outlook
- Facilities/Trade experience
- Understanding of contractor EHS requirements
- Good organizational skills
- Experience of soft services

**Competencies**:

- Organised and methodical approach to all elements of the role
- Good communication skills (verbal/written/presentation/relationship building)
- Self-motivated and able to prioritise their workload
- Able to form effective and lasting networks with colleagues
- Hands on mentality with a strong ability to get into detail as necessary
- High levels of integrity, confidence, independence and collaboration skills

Travel Expectations (include approximate overnight stays per week)

Travel expectations are mínimal within this role
