**What's the background?**

Nutree Life is part of a group of companies and this role specifically focuses on the control and management of stock, ensuring that orders are fulfilled within customer timeframes with efficient material planning. We are looking for someone with purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and ability to collaborate closely with suppliers.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Buyer / Stock Controller, it is important that you build and maintain strong partnerships with core suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions and manage supplier performance. In addition, you will ensure that our supplier approval processes follow BRC and business requirements and contribute to the supplier review processes.

Your proven collaboration experience will allow you to work closely with our production, warehouse, sales and finance teams along with our New Product Development team in sourcing and developing new products.

Your remit will also include using your advanced computer skills to analyse supply chain data and processes, solve any issues and proactively improve processes where necessary. Working alongside our Planner, you will ensure that raw materials and packaging are sourced and purchased in line with specified costs, quality and delivery targets.

You will be a key member of the team, conducting raw material and finished goods traceability exercises and weekly stock checks.

**Experience needed**:
We are looking for an individual with experience of working in a purchasing team, preferably within a manufacturing environment, and confident in collaborating with suppliers.

You'll be computer literate with advanced Excel skills, and good knowledge of purchasing, negotiation and commercial understanding.

Experience of ERP systems is advantageous as you will play a key role in an exciting project to implement a new system in 2024.
