CNC Setter

CNC Setter and Operator - Taunton - Permanent
We are recruiting for a CNC Setter Operator in Taunton on a permanent basis working just 4 shifts a week giving you a 3 day weekend every week.
The company are a well established manufacturer of quality precision machined components who in recent years have heavily invested in the site and latest machinery. They supply to a wide range of industries including aerospace, automotive, oil and gas.
Job Role:

- Working with various metals including mild and stainless steel, aluminium and Titanium
- Setting/Operating CNC Lathes, predominantly sliding head type machines
- Carry out adjustments to tooling/machine setting to achieve part component tolerances
- Ability to interpret CNC programmes (FANUC) carry out edits as required
- Use a variety of machinery and equipment as required
- Carry out work to close limits, read and assess drawings, and inspect to company standards using appropriate equipment in an ISO9001 environment
- Carry out routine equipment maintenance as required
- Work in a safe and organised manner in accordance with EHS regulations
Hours of work:

- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday
- 2.30pm to 1am
- 30 minute unpaid lunch
Rate of pay:

- £18.00 - £19.20 an hour
- £37,440 - £39,936 per annum
- Paid overtime available
