CNC Setter and Operator - Taunton - Permanent
We are recruiting for a CNC Setter Operator in Taunton on a permanent basis working straight days with no weekend work.
The company are a well established manufacturer of quality precision machined components who in recent years have heavily invested in the site and latest machinery. They supply to a wide range of industries including aerospace, automotive, oil and gas.
The hours of work will be 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.
The rate of pay will be £15.00 - £16.00 an hour which equates to £31,200 - £33,280 per annum. With overtime available.
Job Role
Working with various metals including mild and stainless steel, aluminium and Titanium.
*Setting / Operating CNC Lathes, predominantly sliding head type machines.
*Carry out adjustments to tooling/machine setting to achieve part component
tolerances.
*Ability to interpret CNC programmes (FANUC) carry out edits as required.
*Use a variety of machinery and equipment as required.
*Carry out work to close limits, read and assess drawings, and inspect to company
standards using appropriate equipment in an ISO9001 environment.
*Carry out routine equipment maintenance as required.
*Work in a safe and organised manner in accordance with EHS regulations.
