Microsearch Laboratories is a UKAS accredited Laboratory that has been providing analytical services to the food industry for over 30 years. We are a fast-growing company comprising of five separate laboratories based across two buildings.

**We have an opportunity within Analytical laboratory to become a section leader, the role of the section leader is to keep production lines flowing, enforcing standards and procedures at all times & managing the team to ensure production KPIs are met each shift.**

**Duties will include**:

- Managing the team.
- Enforcing Good Lab Practice.
- Report quality errors to Production Manager.
- Ensuring Scheduling is complete and correct.
- Provide a flow of samples to the sections.
- Keeping the production line flowing, covering analyst comfort breaks and porter duties.
- Replace and restock consumables.
- Ensuring work risk assessments are adhered to.

The starting rate of pay is between £10.29 - £12.51 per hour.

Available shifts are:
Saturday, 12pm - 8pm with a 30 minute unpaid break. Some overtime may be required at the end of the shift.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8 per week

**Salary**: £10.29-£12.51 per hour
