What will be your role?

Reporting to the Installation Manager, the  Metal Fabrication Journeyperson/Apprentice  will work in collaboration with the Halifax installation team:

Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, grind, fit, align and tack weld parts Using the design drawings, measure and layout metal plate and tubing during the installation process. Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures Layout construct patterns and templates Read, interpret, plan and execute from drawings, blueprints and procedures

Which candidate profile are we looking for?

Holds a valid Red Seal accreditation (preferred) or is a registered Apprentice Comfortable working in tight spaces and at heights Good work quality and ability to work steadily to meet project timelines Good physical dexterity to work in tight or awkward locations No criminal record, must be able to meet security clearance requirements

All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and a Canadian Government Security clearance.
