Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to be working with one of our clients based in Penicuik, who are looking for a HR Assistant to join their dynamic team. Working alongside the Senior HR Generalist and HR Generalist, the HR Assistant will support with the administration and coordination of a wide range of generalist HR activities. This is full-time permanent position and offers hybrid working Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) and as well as other great benefits.
Daily responsibilities:
- Recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Payroll administration.
- Absence Management administration.
- Employee Recognition Awards administration.
- Internal and external training coordination.
- Administration of amendments to staff terms and conditions.
- Administration of formal meetings e.g., disciplinaries, including minute taking.
- Maintenance of accurate staff records on HR database.
- Relevant administrative/assistant work experience within an HR team.
- Strong organisational, administrative and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail, knowledge, and experience with MS Office packages.
- Ability to work well as part of a team but to manage own workload independently.
- Ability to respond flexibly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- An HR/Business-related qualification, or CIPD qualification is desirable.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
