We are SafeLives, the UK-wide charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse for good.

Working with organisations across the UK, we are transforming the response to domestic abuse. Together, we design and deliver support to thousands of adults and children every year, putting survivors’ voices at the heart of everything we do, whilst challenging and supporting perpetrators to change.

No one should live in fear. It is not acceptable, not inevitable and together, we can make it stop.

We are now looking for a Community Fundraiser to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 15 hours per week.

**The Role**

As a Community Fundraiser, you will play a key role in generating income for our organisation that will enable our work and support us to continue to combat domestic violence.

Specifically, you will seek to expand our network of individual givers and community fundraisers, growing our supporter base through events and fundraising. You will act as the primary point of contact for givers, fundraisers and corporates, maintaining great relationships with current supporters and seeking new opportunities for fund generation.

You will also develop and manage a comprehensive programme of fundraising events and occasionally organise events for our high-net-worth donors.

Additionally, you will:

- Collaborate with the Communications Team to promote fundraisers and events
- Ensure we are GDPR compliant
- Analyse fundraising data and report on the monthly fundraising income

**About You**

To be considered as a Community Fundraiser, you will need:

- Experience running and/or taking part in fundraising activities
- The ability to process complex information and ensure suitability for different audiences
- A creative and innovative approach to presenting information
- Excellent administration and logístical skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills
