With a team of 20 field-based engineers supported by our office staff, Metroline Security are an ambitious and proactive company looking for a dynamic, professional and organised person to assist our operations team.

The role?
An opportunity has arisen at Metroline Security in Folkestone for an Operations Coordinator to join us on permanent basis. This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week, ideally from 8am to 5pm. The role will involve supporting our existing operations team and reporting into the Operation Manager. The main duties and responsibilities will include;
- Coordinate service and installation activities with customers and colleagues, ensuring that engineers are assigned appropriate works.
- Ensure that all works are efficiently organised to maximise customer satisfaction and minimise unnecessary travel.
- Liaise with engineers during the course of the working day to manage any unforeseen delays.
- Providing customers with exceptional customer service and communicating any changes if required.
- Reviewing completed jobsheets and actioning as required.
- Creating purchase orders and issuing to suppliers.
- Checking receipt of stock against purchase orders.
- Allocating stock to planned works and confirmation dates with customers.
- Issuing quotations for maintenance and small works.
- Liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors as required.
- Dealing with returns of equipment under the direction of management.
- Assisting management with health and safety requirements including the creating of RAMS.

You are?
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their careers within an Operations role, and who thrives in a busy office environment within a growing organisation. To be successful for this role you will have ideally had exposure to an operations role within a service-based industry, and have the capability to understand the fundamentals of the fire and security systems we install. Experience of working with CRM/service management software is preferred, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is expected. A professional approach, great attitude, and a polite telephone manner are essential prerequisites of the role.
