THE WASTE COORDINATOR

The Waste Coordinator role will involve day to day administration and liaison of all waste aspects, ensuring records are maintained. Ensuring the site operations are complaint to legislation. The Waste Coordinator is expected to drive improvements in thesite that improve recycling rates, reduce waste generation, reduce costs and reduce Lean Wastes. Regular duties will include:

- To ensure that weekly waste collections are completed and compliant
- Ensure correct labelling of waste across the sites
- Liaise with Waste Company weekly
- Raise Purchase Orders for waste collection
- Report to site leadership team monthly metrics and improvement activities
- Liaise with US sustainability team, and report metrics

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Experience of managing projects would be an advantage.
- Experience of working within the FMCG sector, is preferable.
- Experience working in waste management and improvement is desirable, but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Effective communicator at all levels. Good presentation skills and ability to conduct effective meetings and presentations with large teams.
- Bias for action, with a professional and positive approach - a can do attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile when required
