About the role and our team

Then join our team as a Health Visitor Manx Care is seeking a highly motivated health visitor who is passionate about giving every child the best start in life and beyond.
We provide a child and family focused service offering advice, information and support to families and children to promote health and well-being and to prevent ill health. Each family has their own named health visitor who can give help, advice, and practical support. We offer a robust universal programme that includes face to face delivery of all mandated reviews.
**Your main duties will include**:
- Working as part of an integral team delivering the healthy child programme
- Working autonomously as part of a skill mix team
- Facilitating and supporting change in service delivery
- Managing a GP-aligned caseload
- Working in partnership with families to develop programmes of care that meet the public health needs of the population
You will need excellent communication skills and experience in partnership working, as well as NMC Registration (SCPHN) and a Health Visitor qualification.

About the Island and relocating

A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.

Please note an enhanced with barring police check is required for this post,which Manx Care will cover the cost of for you.
A full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required for this role. A uniform will also be provided.
