**Main Objective**

To ensure that product delivered conforms to specifications and meets the high standard requirements of Border Holdings (UK) Limited in support of the Company's business plan, quality standards and operational objectives.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- To carry out full receipt inspections, checking incoming product against drawings and/or samples
- Carry out inspections to current approved inspection plan
- Responsible for procuring all data, specifications, drawings and samples to ensure products conform to customer requirements and are clearly identified as to their status_._
- Ensure that parts received for military contract have all the associated paperwork and take priority at goods receiving inspection
- Ensure that incoming stock products are correctly managed, and product samples are stored according to their correct sample locations
- Ensure that failed products are removed from Kerridge stock system
- Ensure that rejected incoming products are separated and quarantined
- Ensure that the WMS system is updated as to the incoming stock products status
- Investigate and produce report regarding issues found with product
- Prepare rejected product and documentation for return to suppliers
- Carry out any other duties as required and as commensurate with role
