Piano Assembler/technican

Rhodes Music Group is a young company bringing back the iconic work of Harold Rhodes and his renowned electro-mechanical keyboards known as the “Rhodes” and is dedicated to honouring his legacy by producing the absolute finest incarnation of his instruments back to life as well as moving the company forward into the future to produce a wide variety of superlative musical keyboards and accessories for musicians today.

The main location is in Leeds, U.K. and is a small group of supportive, inspired, creative people working hard to bring the first modern Rhodes product to market: the Mark 8 73-key electro-mechanical keyboard.

At Rhodes music we are looking to bring people in at a standard level and then develop them in this expanding business.

Our products are very well received in the market place and the order book is healthy. We are constantly looking to develop new products

Desirable experience:

- **Music and Instruments**
- Be keen on music
- Play instruments and/or produce/mix music
- experience in tuning instruments
- Some experience in music technology

**Ideal additional experience**:

- Ideally have experience in working with small precision components
- Exposure to electro-mechanical products (and electronics) would be useful
- Ideally some exposure or experience in Lean and Continuous improvement techniques
- Experience in kitting and designing/developing tooling would be useful
- Fitting and assembly in a mechanical environment
- Experience working in an environment with quality systems (ISO 9000 or equivalent)
- Inspection techniques for mechanical products
- Knowledge of geometric tolerancing and able to read an engineering drawing

From 1st April,2024 we are Initially paying £11.44 per hour (for a 22+ year old) but this will be reviewed regularly and there will be opportunities for increases in pay

We work from 9am
- 5pm, five days a week and there will be an opportunity to work some overtime.
