**Piano Assembler at Rhodes Music, Leeds**

Rhodes Music Group is a newly formed company bringing back the iconic work of Harold Rhodes and his renowned electro-mechanical keyboards known as the “Rhodes” and is dedicated to honouring his legacy by producing the absolute finest incarnation of his instruments back to life as well as moving the company forward into the future to produce a wide variety of superlative musical keyboards and accessories for musicians today.

The main location is in Leeds, U.K. and is a small group of supportive, inspired, creative people working hard to bring the first modern Rhodes product to market: the Mark 8 73-note electronic keyboard.

At Rhodes music we are looking to bring people in at a standard level and then develop some of them to potentially become Piano Technicians in this expanding business.

**Essential**
- Have some assembly (and fitting) skills and knowledge. This should include the competent use of assembly tools, torque wrenches, micro-meters, bench mounted and hand-held power tools.
- Be able to access own priorities and use initiative
- Ability to learn and a passion for learning new skills
- Personable
- A team player
- Well organised
- Self-disciplined and self-motivated
- Able to follow exacting written and verbal instructions
- Capable of giving and receiving good constructive feedback
- Good communicator

**Preferred but not essential**
- Experience with building and tuning musical instruments and a good ear
- Apprenticeship served in engineering
- An interest in music, or ability to play an instrument

Potential for development and career opportunities will be available with in Rhodes as we expand over the coming months and years

Starting rate will depend on age but as a 21 year old will be £9.36 an hour (£10.18 from April 2023). Working 37.5 hours per week and starting with 22 days holiday plus bank holidays. Auto-enrol work place pension.
