Based in Tamworth the role of Fleet Operative will involve fleet compliance and management and ensuring that all scheduled deliveries are completed in-line with the customer's expectations. This exciting opportunity offers an excellent basic salary of £28,000per year, an annual bonus scheme and pension, working 6am-6pm on a 4on-4off shift pattern.

**Description**

The role of Fleet Operative in Tamworth will involve:

- Fleet compliance and management.
- Establishing good working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ensuring customer service is maximised.
- Managing all driver operational / delivery queries.
- Re-routing, scheduling, and arranging deliveries.
- Ordering of all fuel for loading through required systems.
- Providing support to Transport Managers.
- Monitoring haulier performance closely.
- Crisis management and investigation.

**Profile**
- Experience in a transport office environment.
- Knowledge of vehicle scheduling/planning.
- A strong sense of Customer focus.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong UK geographical knowledge.
- Good written and verbal skills.
- IT skills to an intermediate standard.
- A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
