Venture Recruitment Partners are assisting an industry leading manufacturer, based near Salisbury, in their search for a Head of Finance.

Acting as No.1 in finance and reporting into Group, responsibilities will include:

- Act as Finance Business Partner to senior executives and the leadership team.
- Ownership of the companys accounting function, including development and nurturing of the finance team.
- Develop a strong understanding of margins, challenge cost efficiency and give an overall vision of financial performance to the Board.
- Manage and review the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide insightful financial analysis, challenging stakeholders where necessary.
- Contribute initiatives to improve quality of reporting to Group.
- Oversee the preparation of annual accounts with team and auditors.
- Ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met.
- Manage Group policies regarding capital requirements, stock valuation, taxation, disposals and acquisitions.

You will be:

- A qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Experienced working in an SME manufacturing environment.
- Previously managed the financials of an R&D department.
- Commercially orientated, capable of interrogating complex financial data and converting to meaningful business information.
- Sound background in team management.

There will be an expectation to be in the office four days a week.
