**Introduction**:
Peritus Private Finance is a growing nationwide network of Mortgage and Financial Advisers. Our aim is to offer a professional service to our network members but retain the personal touch and ‘feel’ of a small business. Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a Mortgage Administrator to join our friendly, hardworking team based in Gateshead.

You will be a confident communicator and be able to deal with your colleagues, network members and clients in a friendly and professional manner.

**Job Title**:
Mortgage Administrator

**Location**:
Based in our office in Gateshead (next to the Metrocentre)

**Salary**:
£23,000 to £26,000p.a. (depending on experience & qualifications)

**Working pattern**:
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 9-5. Currently we work from home on a Friday, but this is discretionary and may change in the future.

**Responsibilities**:

- ID verification checks
- Inputting Fact Finds
- Liaising with lenders and clients
- Production of suitability letters
- Case management via our CRM system
- Ad-hoc tasks to help the wider business

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
**MUST-HAVES**
- Currently/recently working in a similar role
- Knowledge of the mortgage and protection advice process
- Attention to detail
- Able to manage own workload and adapt to changing priorities
- Quick learner
- GCSEs in English and Mathematics (Grade C/Level 4 or above)

**NICE-TO-HAVES**
- CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
- Willing to work towards CeMAP (paid for by us)
- Knowledge of sourcing systems such as Xplan Mortgage and Iress Exchange
