**More about your role**
As one of our Housing Apprentice's, you'll develop the skills knowledge and behaviours to start your career working with our vulnerable customers in our support schemes. You'll study an apprenticeship in Housing and Property Management, giving you an understandingin tenancies and access abespoke learning and development programme.
Day to day you will work closely with our customers to ensure the opportunities for independent living, this could be achieving longer term tenancies or adapted living. You'll learn and work with the wider team to co-ordinate housing and intensive housingmanagement services to vulnerable people.
The role will involve working with customers, colleagues and outside agencies and professionals to deliver a holistic service that is of the highest standard with a people first approach. You will play a key role in signing up new customers to the serviceand in providing advice and guidance with the welfare/benefit system. These are all skills you will be supported to develop.

This is the ideal role for someone wanting to their first step into a career in supported living. You'll benefit from support from across Places for People including your team and the Early Careers People Team.
No previous experience is required, as you'll receive the qualifications and training you need to succeed. You'll want to make a difference in peoples lives and be friendly and approachable.
You'll feel confident speaking to lots of different people and be an ambassador of our SPIRIT values.
You'll be able to motivate yourself and take constructive feedback well.A clear commitment to learning and self improvement is essential to success in this role.
