**The Role**:
As our Accounts and Payroll Assistant, this role has two main areas of responsibility. This role is responsible for supporting with Payroll primarily, alongside Treasury Management. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts and Payroll Assistant must ensure robust systems of control are implemented and adhered to throughout the group. Integral to the role is maintaining accurate records of financial information and ensuring all deadlines are met.

The role requires a wide scope to be able to efficiently drive payroll process improvement and efficiencies whilst providing key ad hoc support to the finance team and wider business.

**In short, what will I be doing?**
- Owning the end-to-end management of the payroll process across all UK entities.
- Manage the financial reporting of the payroll expenses incurred.
- Demonstrating expert knowledge on all payroll related queries including payroll taxes, pension and benefits.
- Managing the purchase ledger inbox
- Managing the PO & Invoice matching process
- Weekly actualisation of the group cash flow forecast.
- Weekly reconciliation and posting of the UK sales journals and group/online invoicing.
- Reconciliation of all bank and cash accounts on a timely basis.
- Support the annual audit process, specifically taking responsibility for all payroll and treasury related queries.
- Respond to any ad hoc requests from the finance team and wider business.
