We are looking to appoint an outstanding Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) to start after Easter 2023.

Ideally, you will have achieved the National Award for SEN Co-ordination and have experience of working within a secondary school.

This is a key position within the academy, leading the provision for our students who have SEND. You will manage our team of teaching assistants and will liaise with the relevant agencies and organisations to ensure that planned and current provision meets students’ needs effectively so that we are able to support students to reach their full potential.

Holbrook Academy is a popular secondary school to the south of Ipswich easily accessible from the A12 and A14. We pride ourselves on our positive and supportive ethos and our passion is to ensure that ‘everybody can be somebody’.

The school is judged ‘Good’ across all aspects by Ofsted (February 2019).
