An opportunity has arisen for two Commercial Assistants to join the Major Projects Business working on the Southern Integrated Delivery project based at of Tonbridge.

With the SID, the Southern Region seeks to make a transformational change in how renewals work is delivered, by merging the capabilities of Network Rail and its supply chain to develop an integrated and coordinated approach to delivery.

Working within the Track Delivery Team as a valued member of our project commercial team and wider project delivery team, your primary responsibility will be to assist the team with day-to-day administration as required by the project.

**Key accountabilities**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Collate daily/weekly labour, plant, and material information for substantiation purposes.
- Produce month-end data to support turnover and cost transactions for analysis.
- Prepare, file, and maintain the Project Commercial Filing System in accordance with the Commercial Manual.
- Assist in the production of Project Reviews.
- Prepare subcontract final account certificates.
- Input hours into the tracker from timesheets, rosters, and sign-in sheets.
- Assist in preparing journals and KPI hours reports for the Commercial Team.
- Raise Alliance ATRs on Asite platform.
- Address any cost, invoice, or allocation queries.
- Provide additional administration support to the commercial function as required.

**Skills & experience**:
We are looking for individuals with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, large-scale project environment. Your contribution will be essential in ensuring accurate financial management and supporting the success of our projects.

Previous experience of providing administration support to a commercial/finance team is an essential requirement for this role.
- Experience of using databases containing large amounts of data.
- Experience of collating large volumes of data managing and filing hard copy records and summarising the data in varying ways.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, numeracy and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of producing work for a team of people juggling competing priorities.
- Flexible/proactive - can do attitude who shows initiative to support others.
