Journalist / Conference Producer

We are seeking to recruit a journalist/conference producer to write for B2B magazines and to also get involved with writing, editing, proofreading, producing conference programmes, and inviting speakers.

The role requires a highly organized individual who can manage a demanding list of tasks according to prioritization. Preferably someone with a keen interest in the aviation industry, but not necessarily.

Key responsibilities:

- This role is very process-oriented and requires someone who can perform tasks reliably, accurately, and efficiently.
- Sourcing, researching, interviewing, and writing accurate news stories and features for our online news sites (off-diary and press releases)
- Providing administrative and editorial support at all stages of the publishing process to ensure it runs efficiently and tasks are carried out promptly and accurately.
- Writing conference programme agendas to the expected standards and recruiting high-calibre speakers from the industry to the company’s events.
- Representing the publications at industry events and press conferences and writing articles to be published in print and online.
- Creating stories for our monthly newsletters.
- Utilising our social media presence on different platforms to broadcast news and updates to our readership.
- Generating and maintaining relationships with industry representatives and officials.

Location: Attractive offices with car parking in South Croydon.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
