Weighbridge Operator

**Main Duties/ Responsibilities**:

- Check delivery drivers have the necessary qualifications, have been inducted for site and have the necessary PPE
- Confirm drivers know where and how to deliver their load
- Record deliveries of Raw Materials and Fuels over the weighbridge
- Despatching of some outbound materials over the weighbridge
- Manage vehicles on site through close communication with the control room and haulier planners
- Be the single point of contact for delivery drivers if there are any issues on site
- Occasional driver inductions to be carried out

**Experience / Qualifications**
- Previous experience of working in a weighbridge is desirable
- Total commitment to Health & Safety Standards
- Good communication skills (Firm but fair)
- Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic
- Ability to work well under pressure at times.
- Knowledge of Excel desirable

**Hours**:
Weekdays: Mon - Fri 12:00 - 19:00hrs

Every other Saturday 05:30 - 13:00hrs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £14.00-£15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
