Being recognised worldwide for lens innovation, we are looking for a proactive committed individual to join our team, focusing on the researching and the appreciation of new and developing market opportunities for our organisation.

This is a 12 month fixed term employed contract role where you will be responsible for conducting market research around our new and existing markets and product ranges. This will involve investigating regions where we currently sell, looking into new markets and potential new ranges of our rehoused lenses. Alongside this you will be conducting market research looking at new product/technology research, as well as production workflow, consumer demand and market trends.

For this, you will be a strong communicator with a natural ability to build relationships and engage with people, interviewing effectively and report writing. A second language such as Hindi or Spanish would be a strong advantage.

Although not a necessity, a passion and general interest in photography, cinematography and the filming industry will allow you to immerse yourself in the company’s forward-thinking lens innovation.

**Experience / Person specification**:

- Degree qualified ideally with an MBA
- Sales and marketing appreciation
- Research experience with experience of using research databases such as LexisNexis
- Highly analytical
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to produce reports on research conducted
- Experience of working in a commercial research environment an advantage
- A second language such as Hindi or Spanish desirable
- A passion and interest in the photography, cinematography and the filming industry an advantage.
