Maintenance Operative

Job Title: Maintenance Operative / Handyperson

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday - very occasional weekend work may be required

Department: Maintenance

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Location: Based out of Hamways House, Oxted, but covering London & Surrey post codes.

Job Summary:
Working as part of the in-house Property Maintenance Team, typically void reactive and planned maintenance on residential properties, moving from job to job throughout the day/week.

To assist with all general maintenance and repairs which includes but is not limited to:

- Painting and decorating
- Basic plumbing/heating/leak investigation
- Basic carpentry and internal building repairs
- Tiling
- Ease and adjust windows and doors
- Test appliances
- Renew mastic seals
- Furniture assembly
- Kitchen/bathroom installation
- Garden and outside space clearing and tidying
- Removal of furniture and personal effects
- To leave each site in a clean and tidy condition.
- To report any unresolved maintenance issues to the relevant department.
- Report any Electrical or Gas works required for external qualified contractors to deal with
- To adhere to the Company Health and Safety policy at all times and take all steps to ensure the Health and Safety of yourself and others on site.
- Ad hoc tasks as required

Transport and tools provided. Due to the nature of the role, please note that a full UK driving licence is essential.
