**Role Overview**

We are currently recruiting for a Site Security Supervisor/ Manager to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client’s site in Birstall.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors and delivery persons ensuring maintenance of security on the site.
- Respond promptly to any site alarms and investigate disturbances where required and record, log and escalate actions as appropriate.
- Develop safety plans for the site/building reporting findings to the Client/ Account Manager.
- Inspect security system equipment to ensure no tampering and complete site safety patrols as instructed.
- To manage holidays, sickness and absence within company guideline and ensure service standards are met.
- Managing, training, and assessing performance of the entire security personnel.
- To work with HR advisor in managing the welfare of all security staff and to adhere to HR policies covering all areas of managing employees within a security function.
- Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms.
- Review reports on incidents and breaches
- Investigate and resolve issues.
- To manage excellent relationships with our client, our suppliers and other partners.
- To ensure the site are performing to SIA standard at all times.
- To ensure assignment instructions/ SOP’s are trained out.
- To ensure safe working practices and environment for the team.
- To ensure no dropped shifts and hours fully covered to service contract.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

**About You**:

- Experience working in a security management role, min 3 years’ experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of Security compliance.
- Experience in managing and leading multi-person security teams over multiple sites.
- Excellent IT skills (Excel, Outlook/Calendar, Word etc.) are essential.
- Health & Safety management & risk assessment awareness (IOSH)
- Have a valid first aid certificate and SIA licence including CCTV.
- Professional work attitude with a drive to get the best out of your teams.
- Effective communicator - both orally and in writing
