**Position**: Specialist Mental Health Lead

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage staff teams, providing guidance, training, and support in day-to-day operations.
- Demonstrate expertise in mental health support and handling various mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Create contingency plans for emergencies and oversee their implementation as needed.
- Maintain professionalism and effectiveness in handling challenging situations, including crisis interventions.
- Ensure compliance with HR procedures and regulatory requirements in all aspects of care delivery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and external stakeholders to optimize care and support for individuals with complex mental health needs.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience within the field of mental health care, preferably in a community or home care setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff teams.
- Resilient and dynamic approach in managing staff and client interactions.
- Knowledge and understanding of various mental health conditions and their management.
- Skilled in creating and implementing care plans and crisis intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Understanding of HR procedures, safeguarding practices, and CQC regulatory standards in care settings.

**Salary**: Competitive, based on experience

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
