Are you looking for an all round, varied role in Credit, with a growing business with the offer of study support?

SF are working exclusively with a growing European manufacturer with offices near Sutton Coldfield, a small friendly team of 6 in Finance, they are looking for an experienced Credit Controller, with a proactive approach to join the team on a permanent basis. The Head of Finance is a believer in continuous improvement both of the function but also individual so is will to support with studies AAT/CICM or even other job relevant training e.g Excel training.

Your new Role:
You will be responsible for your own ledger made up of 120-150 live accounts, collecting payments in a timely and accurate manner

Updating records, making sure to resolve or escalate queries in a timely manner

Processing invoices

Daily cash allocation

Processing export invoices

Maintain Stop list, putting accounts on and off stop. Taking payments and releasing orders

Providing account information to internal departments

Highlighting and escalating Credit Risk to the Head of Finance and Sales Team.

What you'll need

3+ years working in a commercial Credit team

Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution business is desirable but not essential

Good ERP experience, SAP would be beneficial

Good Excel Skills

Strong Communication and negotiation skills
